Trolls
I can never quite decide if it's smarter to just ignore them, or to argue with them. I mean, obviously logic and reasonable arguments won't change their minds, small and closed as they are, but on the other hand, I love arguing SO MUCH. I guess it does kind of make me a bully, though, if I pick on an inferior intellect. Dammit. Sometimes your brain is tired and you just want an easy target, ya know?

Take it from me... trolls are bullies. if you are able to take them down, then I bow to you. :-)
squeaks, good point. I guess it would make me a sadist rather than a bully, then ;)
But, really, don't give me too much credit. Most of these people are such idiots that it doesn't even count as a "fight" (and anyway they aren't smart enough to acknowledge a "win"). So as far as taking them down -- I guess I don't see the point. If I feel like arguing for the sake of arguing, I suppose they can be useful. But not for much more than that.
But, yeah, most of the time they are just an irritation and detract from the overall quality of the blog. Ah well, c'est la vie.

Anyone who comments to a blog is fair game and should expect to be engaged by someone else who disagrees. I love a good argument, especially when I'm right!
