Okay.
It is officially Christmas season. Which means I am allowed to listen to Christmas music and wear Santa earrings and people can no longer look at me like I'm crazy.

i don't care if people think i'm crazy, i've got my christmas music on my i-pod year round.
One of the many reasons I love you :)
Hey Law Fairy - glad to see you're back! I've never commented before, but I read your blog and always enjoy your comments at Feministing, so yay.
So, this is OT, but I was wondering why you decided to become a lawyer. I'm considering law school for myself, and I'm interested in hearing other peoples' stories about why they became lawyers. I realize, from your post a bit further down the page, that you're not in the best place right now, but if you could find it in you, maybe do a blog post about that? I just like hearing the stories of people I really respect who are also lawyers.
Apologies if this is inappropriate or you've already blogged about it (in which case, could you point me in the right direction?).
LF, you know, people can always look at you like you're crazy. But that doesn't mean you're crazy.
Just like just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean people really aren't out to get you.
randomly, LF send me your mailing address.. it is x-mas card time!
Gretchen, I can't remember if I have posted on that before... I will try to get to my archives to check soon and refer you if so. Not sure if I'm feeling up to posting about why I went to law school in the near future, but that may have more to do with the fact that it's Wednesday night, I've already billed 40 hours for the week, and I still have more left to go before I can go to bed tonight, including a bunch of NONbillable work I have to do, and a full day tomorrow. Wheee...
Quinn, PRECISELY.
Darlyn, you got it :)
Hey, LF. Not that I really know you or anything, but the recent, and horrible Denver news made me think of you. I obviously have no idea if you are associated with the church involved. But, I thought I would let you know that I am thinking of you and hope that none of your family or friends were hurt. Take care!
Thanks Michele. Fortunately no one I know was hurt, although we did have a near miss. After the Denver shooting there was a second shooting down in my hometown, Colorado Springs, at New Life Church (Ted Haggard's old stomping ground). I know a couple people who go there, and apparently one of Mom's friends had suggested they go to some sort of event or service there or something yesterday, and Mom thought about going but opted not to. Holy CRAP am I glad she didn't go.
Dear law fairy,
you rock!!
sincerely,
me from germany
I totally wore my snowflake brooch/pin today.

please? :)
Gino, maybe LF got a great christmas gift that has attracted all her attention. :P
