I can admit when I'm wrong
I finally got around to watching Casino Royale tonight.
I take back every bad thing I ever said about Daniel Craig. Holy FUCK. I mean. HOLY. FUCK. He is THE sexiest James Bond ever. Yes, you read that right. THE sexiest.
I'm a little out of breath. I was going to post a picture, but a picture just doesn't do him justice (which is why I'm going to allow myself a "you-can't-tell-from-the-picture!" excuse for my earlier stupidity). I might watch the movie again tonight. Hot damn.

how bout a favorite ten movies list?
that one seems to be making the rounds lately.
LF, I really thought we were going to hit it off... but I guess not.
It was nice knowing ya.
Gino, hmmmm, I have to limit it to ten? That might be too tough...
Quinn... is that because my taste is so horrendous, or because you're gonna fight me for him? ;)
you can have him, honey. Give me Sean or Pierce any day. Or better yet, the diamond-faced guy from Die Another Day.
well, it started out as ten. but RW got carried away and went to 50.
i did ten, and jade, in her wisdom, noticed was actually 11.
seriously, i'd be interested in reading about yours.
Quinn, perfect. Now we don't have to fight :D
Gino, I checked your list and I've seen exactly two of the films on it. LOL -- I imagine our picks would be very different :)
but you gotta remember, i started going to movies back in 1974.
(no, that wasnt the silent era)
Oh my. Strong feelings. I'm still not watching any James Bond movie ever, but I appreciate your passion.
I think he's hot, but he's not a sexy James Bond. Totally wrong. I loathed that movie. Loathed. Though, he can come over to my house any time and be tied up naked to a seatless chair while I abuse him. I promise not to leave any marks.
Gino, I think I went to a movie theater for the first time around 1985, so I'm not *that* far behind you :P
Bianca, why thank you ;)
Andy, lol. I think it's very much a personality thing. I think he's probably a little more in touch with his feminine side than the previous Bonds. Wonder where that means I fall on the Kinsey scale!
well, hurry up and post yer picks!!!!
But will he age as well as Sean Connery?
I didn't think so.
Perhaps not. But he'd also never beat me up. ::shudder::
Exactly, LF. We ARE all remembering, are we not, that Mr. Connery is infamous for his quote, "Sometimes a woman just needs a good slap." No, he was not kidding.
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I wouldn't feel like I got the short end of the proverbial stick if I woke up tomorrow looking like Daniel Craig. He's not ugly in that movie, to be sure.
glad to see you're blogging a bit again. Long absences are no good.
Sarah, amen sister.
(((Roy))) I miss blogging. Actually, really what I miss is having TIME to blog. But, you know, either way. I hope to be better about it. My blogging used to be so FUN.
As for DC, obviously definitely not a bad-looking guy, but beautiful men are a dime a dozen. Honestly what REALLY does it for me (on top of the looks, I won't lie) is something besides the looks... something about the combination of vulnerability and imperfection and intelligence and confidence and just OK-ness with who he is. Like, a real human male person who also happens to be a brilliant secret agent. So rare, these real human male persons. Secret agent or not.
Why didn't you come to my Bond party last spring where you could have drooled along with me and Julie?
Gee, and Boston is just a hop, skip, and a jump away, too! ;)
(as it gets colder, you know, LA is a GREAT place to visit!)
Right?
Someday, when things are bad getting Casino Royale on Netflix and watching it again doesn't sound like a bad idea.
