The color of freedom
I did some damage to my credit card today. But it felt sooooo good. Most important: I got my hair done.
I wanted to do something bold and fun and drastic, but I didn't want to cut my hair because I'm really liking it long. So I went really blonde. And pink. That's right. I now have blonde and pink hair. And I LOVE it! Take THAT, bar exam!
I'll post a pic or two once I scrounge up some batteries for my camera (it's the laziest camera ever -- the batteries on that thing die faster than anything I've used, including my old POS phone).

YOU DID IT!!! I can't wait to see pix!
That's hot.
Sounds bold, fun, and drastic. Are you going to keep it for your job at the law firm?
:) that makes me laugh.
i can defintely relate to the hair. my hair is just barely getting long for the first time ever, and i'm kinda likin' it, but i get the need to change it up. i'm actually thinking going Dark brown. blond's not my thing.
Hehehehe.
Lord knows I'd love to keep this at the firm, but 1) my colorist couldn't guarantee the pink would last a month, let alone until September 19th and 2) it is still a law firm, even if it is in LA... sigh. Who knows, though, if they're really open-minded I might try something fun again. OR if I get myself an unpaid November-February vacay, why the hell should I care if my hair's conservative?
miss terri -- I've tried just about everything but black (something to consider when I'm bored at the firm, since it is technically a natural hair color :)). I think one of the most fun changes I've ever done was a couple years ago, when I went from Marilyn Monroe-blonde to dark brown/red. It was a big, noticeable change, and I'm a total attention whore :) My natural tone, for those wondering, is mousy brown with dark black eyebrows. Gag.
I wish I was brave enough to go pink. You have to post pics so I can live vicariously!
Well, I've got one up now. Maybe more if I find another one I like :)
Let the vicarious living begin!
